the blossoming place

this morning

I woke up strange

resenting

time spent watering

I decided    let them die

to see if you worried

about the plants

or about me

but every day is slow decay

I remember hearing

your old boss say

if a plant suffers

you need to change

its environment

I guess I need

some changing too

I am the keeper

I killed them         for you

I can’t seem to

let buds blossom

without feeling so  expended
